A Growler is not a brand of beer, it is simply a glass jug that can carry about 2 liters of beer. It is intended to be washed and reused. Caps can be discarded, the Steamworks bartender will give you a fresh one each time you refill your growler. No other containers shall be accepted, do not expect Steamworks to serve you some beer-to-go into a plastic bag, like we did it a few times in Russia. A growler refill will cost you about $12 which is very, very decent for the beer ("your precious beer") you're taking home. Be reminded that it's supposed to be consumed within 48 hours of purchase, but it is unlikely you will forget doing so.
